Yellowstone Park's Autumn Sights and Sounds

2021 Yellowstone Pack Trip Schedule

Autumn in Yellowstone ParkFall is my favorite time to be in Yellowstone’s back country. The summer crowds are gone, the trees have turned a brilliant gold; crisp, clear evenings are perfect for stargazing, and all around us are the sounds of bugling elk! The animals seem to know the park is less busy too. Come join us in September for a unique Yellowstone adventure!

 September 1-9, "Thorofare, most remote...”

(Only 3 spots remaining, book now for this incredible adventure!)

A very special event- We are offering another very special Thorofare  pack trip. We normally make this once a season, but the demand is high for this amazing trip. The hint of fall arrives as this pack trip rides into one of the most remote locations in Yellowstone. This is one of our most popular pack trip into one of the prettiest spots in Yellowstone! Ride into the most remote area in the lower 48 states at the Thorofare Ranger Cabin, travel the routes of the Native People and sense the adventure of Yellowstone's Backcountry. The touch of fall is on the foilage and in the air.   A place very few have  seen, come join us for an adventure!  Trip is limited to 8 guests, only 3 spots remaining. The rate is $6480/person and requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit to confirm the reservations.  This amazing, remote pack trip will not last long!

Belcher Falls

"Lamar River", September 12-17

This pack trip combines beautiful scenery, fall colors, fly fishing and wildlife.  An excellent fall trip, deep into the Lamar River Valley!  We have seen elk, bison, moose, bear and wolves on this trip, always a highlight! Fly fishing from campsites on the Lamar River.  The rate is $4300/person and requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit to confirm the reservations.  This trip is limited to 8 guests and only 2 spots remain.

"Broad Creek", September 21-24  (Sold Out)

Located in the beautiful Pelican Valley area of Yellowstone, is spectacular in the fall!  Wildlife highlight this pack trip as the elk rut is on, large herds of bison grace the meadows, bear and wolves on the move as fall is in the air.  Excellent day rides out from camp to explore thermal areas and view wildlife.  This trip is limited to 8 guests.  The rate is $2520/person and requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit to confirm the reservations.  This trip and time frame is a favorite of mine!

Be sure to join us on the spectacular fall trips in Yellowstone.
